2nd Individual Assignment
Lisa
Ruth
Internal Conflict
Inner conflict occurs when one is confronted with a problem that presents difficult choices. One must make a decision one way or another. First Lisa missed her dad and didn't know the next time she would see him. Second, she has been going through this whole journey not knowing whether she would be caught and killed. Finally, she waited and waited and didn't know when she was going to get to America.
Ruth had many mixed emotions going through the journey she often yelled at her sisters or was very quiet. She she seemed to be mad at herself. She just never seemed to be happy. She would just sit there by herself looking lonely and mad at the world. The war was hard on her and she needed her father. External Conflict
External conflict occurs when one faces someone else or some situation that is working against one's own desires or goals. Lisa and Ruth both had to move away from their families until the day they left for America. Lisa was tired of not having enough food she grew more weak and hungry as the days went on. When Ruth and Lisa were at the camp, they were put to work and their reward was chocolate. Since Ruth was annoyed with her little sister Annie when she said they're Papa could be dead, Ruth slapped her and was very angry with her.

3rd Assignment
People that were involved in Nazism usually started where they were toddlers. They went to school to be taught the ways of the Nazis. In these schools they learned about Hitler and his duties to Germany. This fit into Hitler's plan of a perfect world because he believed everyone should follow him and he should be the leaders of the war. He was getting the followers from the schools that were taught Nazism and most of the German popularity. His followers needed to start young so they grow up following no one but Hitler. If they start younger, they will learn more. Now Germany will have more followers of Hitler.
EXACTLY. THE CHILDREN WILL HAVE NO IDEA THAT THEY HAVE BEEN BRAINWASHED INTO THIS WAY OF THINKING.
